Medical & Pharmaceutical Translation

Medical and pharmaceutical document translation: discuss terminology, intended use, source files and review requirements with MBS-Translation.

Make the intended use clear

A medical report for a patient, a research paper and a pharmaceutical information sheet serve different readers. Tell MBS-Translation who will use the translation, the source and target languages, and whether it is for personal understanding, publication or submission to an institution.

Files and terminology to provide

Send the complete, legible source document, including tables, references, units and notes. Supply approved terminology or reference materials where available. Flag abbreviations, medicine names and passages that need clarification; unclear source text should be queried rather than guessed.

Agree the review scope

Ask for the proposed terminology and consistency checks, final file format and review responsibilities in the quotation. If an institution or regulator will receive the document, obtain its translation and certification instructions before ordering. Translation does not replace clinical advice or regulatory approval.

Request a project assessment

Share the document type, approximate length, language pair and required date. Before sending sensitive records, ask MBS-Translation to agree an appropriate transfer method and confidentiality arrangements. Share only the information needed to assess and complete the project.
